đź“ťTwo As One SYNOPSIS : Two As One - A Journey to Yoga Through decades of study, training, and deep meditation, McNally and Thorson have mastered the practice of Partner Yoga. Two as One: A Journey to Yoga integrates philosophy and yoga techniques from many time-honored disciplines to create a synergistic experience for two Yoga partners working together. Two As One is a revolutionary concept which gives each partner the power to support and be supported; to open and be opened. This gift from the masters offers an ingenious tool for aspiring yogis and spiritual seekers alike, to move farther and faster on the path than they ever possibly could alone - and perhaps enjoy the practice more than ever before! The poetry of bodies captured in the book was photographed by world-renowned New York City Photographer Connie Hansen of Guzman Photography. It was she and stylist Gabriele Vignorelli who launched the original ad campaign that made Gap a household name. They work again together here, to capture another unique and timeless style. The Two As One partner-yoga practice reveals the essence of ancient secret practices for radical transformation, through an exquisite and simple presentation. As Lama Christie describes, "When you work together in a hands-on, visceral way, you tap into the power of the inner body. It forms a resonance between the two people that is more powerful than anything the individual by themselves can call up. This is a revolutionary concept on how to travel the spiritual path". All proceeds from the book will be donated to support more than 50 people entering into a historic three-year retreat at Diamond Mountain University in southeastern Arizona. DMU teaches Tibetan Buddhism through advanced philosophy, yoga, debate, and many other methods that enable individuals to help others.

đź“ťThe Not Two SYNOPSIS : In The Not-Two, Lorenzo Chiesa examines the treatment of logic and God in Lacan's later work. Chiesa draws for the most part from Lacan's Seminars of the early 1970s, as they revolve around the axiom "There is no sexual relationship." Chiesa provides both a close reading of Lacan's effort to formalize sexual difference as incompleteness and an assessment of its broader implications for philosophical realism and materialism. Chiesa argues that "There is no sexual relationship" is for Lacan empirically and historically circumscribed by psychoanalysis, yet self-evident in our everyday lives. Lacan believed that we have sex because we love, and that love is a desire to be One in face of the absence of the sexual relationship. Love presupposes a real "not-two." The not-two condenses the idea that our love and sex lives are dictated by the impossibility of fusing man's contradictory being with the heteros of woman as a fundamentally uncountable Other. Sexual liaisons are sustained by a transcendental logic, the so-called phallic function that attempts to overcome this impossibility. Chiesa also focuses on Lacan's critical dialogue with modern science and formal logic, as well as his dismantling of sexuality as considered by mainstream biological discourse. Developing a new logic of sexuation based on incompleteness requires the relinquishing of any alleged logos of life and any teleological evolution. For Lacan, the truth of incompleteness as approached psychoanalytically through sexuality would allow us to go further in debunking traditional onto-theology and replace it with a "para-ontology" yet to be developed. Given the truth of incompleteness, Chiesa asks, can we think such a truth in itself without turning incompleteness into another truth about truth, that is, into yet another figure of God as absolute being?

đź“ť and the TWO Shall Become As ONE Encoded in the Book of Eternal Life SYNOPSIS : A treatise on the greatest of Biblical verses, Matthew 19: 4-4; with the added understanding of the ideas TWO and ONE so necessary for our coming together as men and women in spirit. Author Bio: Christopher Alan Anderson (1950 - ) received the basis of his education from the University of Science and Philosophy, Swannanoa, Waynesboro, Virginia. He resides in the transcendental/romantic tradition, that vein of spiritual creativity of the philosopher and poet. His quest has been to define and express an eternal romantic reality from which a man and a woman could together stand in their difference and create a living universe of procreative love. Mr. Anderson began these writings in 1971. The first writings were published in 1985. On a personal note, when Mr. Anderson was asked to describe the writings and what he felt their message was he responded, "Spiritual procreation. Mankind has yet to distinguish the two sexes on the spiritual level. In this failure lies the root of our problems and why we cannot yet touch the eternal together. The message of man and woman balance brings each of us together in love with our eternal other half right now."
